WHEN SHOULD I RUN BONFACE?
What is the best time of day to do it? You can preferably choose between MORNING early (upon waking) or EVENING
- MORNING = awakens the muscles of the face and gives you awareness of the movements of the face throughout the day.
Many people develop bad muscle practices such as frowning too often. A morning facial can help break these bad habits.
- EVENING = helps to reset/restore the muscles used during the day and it allows you to relax your mind, preparing it for a good sleep.
* The important thing is consistency, based on your lifestyle, look for a moment of the day to dedicate attention and awareness to your face.
HOW DOES IT TAKE TO SEE THE RESULTS?
Some people notice results right away, even after just one practice! In general, progress is perceived after 2 weeks.
The best method of analysis is observation! So watch yourself carefully.
Measuring a change on our face is different from seeing it on the rest of the body. On the face the changes are actually more subtle, made up of small details.
That's why it's essential to take a PHOTO of the before and after to observe what changes, rejoice in the goals and keep yourself motivated.
HOW MANY MINUTES TO DEVOTE TO IT PER DAY?
10 minutes a day are ideal for keeping your skin toned and radiant. Youcan perform a "total-face" massage or focus on the area you want to improve the most (eg. forehead, lips).
- LITTLE AND OFTEN = for best results, force yourself to do a few maneuvers every day rather than a long exercise every now and then much.
A) HOW LONG SHOULD I HOLD THE POSES?
Generally, repetitions of 8 are performed for at least one minute of attention on each area of the face.
B) WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T?
Practice, practice, practice. The exercise is the solution. Once your body has learned the movement little by little it will make it its own and will never forget it.
CAN WRINKLES CAUSED BY EXERCISES APPEAR?
Nope. Some believe that moving the muscles in the face can create more wrinkles. It's actually the repetition of incorrect movements that causes wrinkles. Moving them in the right way can prevent and even reduce them.
In fact, each exercise is performed in one minute or less and each movement is very specific. To be sure of performing it correctly, always position yourself in front of a mirror, especially at the beginning.
- STREES FACTOR = be aware that stress is often the cause of many bad habits and wrinkles! Practice will show you that a relaxed mind produces a relaxed face.
SOME OF MY FAMILY HAVE A DOUBLE CHIN, IS IT GENETIC? CAN I HAVE RESULTS FOR MY CHIN BY PRACTICEING THE EXERCISES?
Your family members can be an indicator of your future face. Look at their face and take note of the areas you would work on on yours.
The greater awareness you have of the problems that may occur in the future, the greater your prevention can be. And motivate you.
I LIKE SOME EXERCISES, SOME DON'T. SHOULD I DO THEM ALL?
You don't have to do all of them to get results. Especially at the beginning you can choose the ones you feel more comfortable with or those related to the area you want to work on the most. However, just like training the body, a complete workout brings greater results. This is why I suggest you vary the exercises and experiment with curiosity and enthusiasm.
If there are exercises that you like least, well this is a sign that you need to practice them more to get the results you are looking for.
I HAVE DONE BOTOX and LIFTING, CAN I STILL PRACTICE THE EXERCISES?
Yes! The beauty of self-facials is that they can be done in combination with other facials.
The important thing is, if you have just had botox injections, fillers, facelifts, wait 15 to 20 days and consult your doctor.
MY FACE FEELS STRANGE AFTER PRACTICE, IS IT NORMAL?
Yes, that's normal. It means that you are moving muscles that you don't usually move and that you have awakened something. It's similar to when you start playing a new sport, you feel strange, your body and mind are receiving new stimuli.
If you feel pain approach calmly in an exercise. very quietly. You will gradually improve your endurance and exercise frequency.
- HYDRATION = make sure your face is well hydrated to avoid unnecessary damage to the surface layer of skin. And remember to moisturize your lips well too.
I KNOW IT'S IMPORTANT TO DRINK WATER BUT I DON'T LIKE DOING IT, HOW SHOULD I DO IT?
Hydration, we will never get tired of saying it, is essential. The ideal is to drink approximately 6/8 glasses of water a day.
Try to drink warm or hot water in the morning before breakfast.
Drinking hot water is not an easy operation at first but trust me it is extremely pleasant and effective for improving your skin and the health of your intestines.
Do not drink it all in one gulp, take small sips and try to find relaxation in feeling (especially on an empty stomach) this stream of water entering your body nourishing every part of it.
The choice of cup can be motivating ! To make the gesture of drinking water a real ritual.
- HOW MUCH WATER TO DRINK?
Each person, based on their physicality, may need a different amount of liquids. Do you want to know exactly how much water to drink based on your body weight?
Easy! Take your weight and multiply it by three:
eg. 60 kg x 3 = 180 (in liters divide by 100) = 1. 8 litres of water per day!
